Insurance Coverage for Massage
Most Insurance companies will cover a 30 minute massage depending on your benefits. Occasionally there is a deductible required before the insurance covers your massage. However, once the deductible is met, you will only be responsible for your co-pay/co-insurance.
Types of Massage
| Swedish- Entails a vigorous treatment designer to re-energize the body with manipulation involving strokes toward the heart on superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue. Benefits include improved circulation, relaxation, increased healing and reduced swelling from injury. |
| Sports- A deep tissue massage emphasizing stretching, and mobilization of muscles and joints. Our therapist will design a massage regarding the sport or injury sustained for the patient. |
| Deep Tissue- Helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation. This massage reduces inflammation related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis. Our therapists relieve tension in the fascia and muscles with an emphasis on those located beneath the surface of the superficial muscles. |
